TIE ROD HOLE REPAIRS:
Tie Rod holes are channels through the wall to the outside. They hold fasteners that hold the forms in place when the concrete was poured for the foundation. These channels are repaired the same way as a foundation crack. They are repaired by drilling holes on an angle to intersect the channel in the center of the wall. Injection fittings are installed and injected with an expanding urethane resin. This is pumped into the wall under high pressure to completely and permanently seal the penetration.

Electrical and plumbing penetrations:These repairs are often most successfully preformed from the inside. These areas are previously preped for polyurethane flex resins injection. We use state of the art hydraulic cement to effectively prep these voids and pipes even when they are wet or water just poured from the penetration.

The most common method used for interior repairs are by drilling (if high pressure injection is required. This is recommended for tie cracks). The other is surface mounted ports (for low pressure injection and is recommended for thicker cracks) Here are some pictures samples:

The area is accessed for repair, the cracks are cleaned and we apply a concrete adhesive gel to hold the surface port attached to the crack for where we proceed to execute the injection process. Once the cure time is done we clean and paint if necessary.
